DIVISION 2 PENNANT FLAG UNFURLED
There were great celebrations at Tuncurry Sporties on Thursday, 13th October when the 2022-23 LNCDWBA Division 2 Pennant Flag was Unfurled for our Division 2B Pennant Team. President Barbara welcomed members, District President Lorraine Austin and District Treasurer Robyn Condello and our invited visiting Division 2 Pennant Teams. District President Lorraine and District Treasurer Robyn had the pleasure of presenting our Division 2B Team of Vicki Piper, June Kilpatrick, Helen Bush, Julie Curry, Lyn McVicar, Donna Hampson and Karen Carlton their Pennant Badges and when President Lorraine unfurled the Division 2 Pennant Flag there were smiles all round.
Following our game of bowls in the sunshine we headed inside for a delicious hot lunch. It was then time for a few speeches and cutting of the cake by the 2B Pennant Team. Unfortunately, a very valued member of the team, Sharyn Newcombe, was not able to attend the celebrations however was in our thoughts on this very special day.
