A DAY OF CELEBRATIONS FOR OUR WINNERS AND RUNNERS UP
We finished our 2022-2023 Bowling Year on a high with our Presentation Day on Thursday, 29th June, 2023. We started the day with a scrumptious morning tea made by several of our members and well presented by our Social Committed, then it was time for a game of Social Bowls.
Following our game of Social Bowls it was time for us to head inside for President Barbara Cross to welcome our invited guests and members to our 2022-2023 Presentation Day and to enjoy our Hot Lunch prepared by the Chefs at Tuncurry Sporties.
Then it was time for the presentation of Perpetual Trophies, Badges and Certificate to our Winners and Runners-Up for the 2022-2023 Bowling Year.
Lyn McVicar – 2022-2023 Major Singles Champion
To conclude the Presentation of Trophies it was time for Helen Bush, Chair of Match to announce the Most Consistent Player for 2022-2023 is Lyn McVicar and for President Barbara to present her with the Most Consistent Bowler Trophy. Lyn has had a very successful year on the green winning our Major Singles and Major Pairs Championships, Major/Minor Pairs and Runner Up in the Club Triples. Lyn was also a member of the teams that won the 2022-2023 LNCDWBA Division 2 Pennants and 2022-2023 LNCDWBA Senior Fours. Congratulations Lyn on your tremendous bowling achievements during the 2022-2023 bowling year.
President Barbara concluded proceedings by thanking everyone who contributed in making this a very special day for our Winners and Runners Up.
